The ELFA EV-125 and the Vlektra Velocity 180 attack the same problem — time off the charger — from opposite directions. ELFA makes charging fast: a published 2-hour fast charge, a lithium pack rated for 2,000 cycles and a claimed 100 km range for PKR 335,000. Vlektra makes it rare: a high-capacity LFP pack and a claimed 180 km range for PKR 369,000, the longest figure in our directory.
Which one is worth PKR 34,000 more depends entirely on your charging situation. If you can plug in at home or at work and your daily ride is under 80 km, the EV-125’s two-hour turnaround means you are never really waiting — a normal overnight charge is the exception, not the routine. If you cannot charge at either end of your commute, or you routinely ride 100 km-plus days, the Velocity 180’s extra distance is the only spec that matters and ELFA’s fast charger cannot substitute for it.
The documentation gap cuts ELFA’s way. Vlektra does not publish the Velocity 180’s charge time or top speed, while ELFA publishes its charge time and cycle rating. Neither publishes a battery warranty in the terms we could verify, which for ELFA’s 2,000-cycle claim is the question to settle at the counter before paying.
Our verdict: the EV-125 is the better-value commuter for riders with a reliable charge point — PKR 34,000 cheaper with a published fast-charge capability. The Velocity 180 is the pick only if genuine 100 km-plus range is non-negotiable, and you should test the claim on your own route. Read the ELFA and Vlektra profiles.
