These two sit in the same performance bracket: both run a 1,500 W hub motor, disc brakes front and rear, and roughly 2.5 kWh of battery — 64 V 40 Ah (2,560 Wh) in the BRG V5 Glidex, 76.8 V 32 Ah (2,458 Wh) in the Nexo Nine 1500W. The price gap is PKR 30,000 on the product-page figures: PKR 285,000 for the V5 against PKR 255,000 for the Nine. BRG’s homepage still shows PKR 275,000 for the V5, which would narrow the gap to PKR 20,000 — either way, the Nine is the cheaper scooter.

The battery paperwork separates them. Nexo names Phylion as the cell maker and publishes a 36-month battery warranty, 24 months on the motor, 18 months on the controller and 3 months on electronic parts. BRG publishes the V5’s LFP chemistry — which we generally prefer for cycle life and heat tolerance in Pakistan — but no cell supplier and no warranty schedule at all. As in the ES20 comparison, a better chemistry without a written term is a promise, not a guarantee. Read our battery price and warranty guide before treating LFP as the tie-breaker.

On documented range, Nexo claims more: 130–140 km against BRG’s 110 km, the longest claim in each brand’s line-up. Nexo also publishes a 180 kg load rating, which BRG does not. BRG answers back with a known 87 kg kerb weight (Nexo publishes none) and a faster 3–4 hour charge on a 10 A charger against 4–5 hours. Nexo’s 76.8 V architecture should also mean less current for the same power than BRG’s 64 V system. Both leave suspension unpublished, and BRG’s tyre listing contradicts itself (3.00-10 on one line, 120/80-12 front and rear on another) — confirm the fitted size in writing.

Our verdict: the Nine 1500W is the safer buy and the better-documented scooter at PKR 30,000 less — named cells, a written warranty, a published load rating and the longer claimed range. Choose the V5 Glidex only if LFP chemistry, the faster charge and a known kerb weight matter more to you, and only after the dealer confirms the current price, the warranty terms and the correct tyre size in writing. Compare both with the rest of the class in our head-to-head index.
